A new music festival set to hit Swindon Town Gardens this month has announced its official lineup.
The Roll Up Roll Up Festival will take place at the Town Gardens in Old Town on Saturday, April 20 from 1pm to 10.30pm, and promises 'the ultimate musical journey filled with electrifying performances.'
Along with a diverse lineup of talented musicians from around Swindon, the park will be taken over with delicious food and arts, crafts and artisan stalls for one day only.
While music lovers can crowd around the bowl and the bandstand, craft lovers and those wanting a calmer space can immerse themselves in interactive community art.
"Creating a community art area is a fantastic way to engage a diversity of attendee participation and provide a fun and creative outlet, no matter how young or old," said Julian Hogan, Festival Director.
"Our town is a wonderfully diverse one, filled to the brim with eclectic and talented performers in the music spaces.
"This year, I am honoured to bring this first-time festival to share the vibrant music culture that lives within Swindon."
The event will raise money for charities Alzheimer's Society, Swindon Sisters Alliance and Best Mates throughout the day, and even boasts a raffle prize draw where one winner can take away a bundle or prizes from local and national businesses.
But for those who are purely going for the musical talent on display, the line-up promises not to disappoint.
"There are so many stories to tell by so many various DJs and genres so I hope there's something for everybody," added Julian.
"So come on out and experience a day filled with Dub, Reggae, Afrobeat, RnB, Hip Hop, House, Garage, Trance and Drum and Bass."
